EHOPE Supports the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair

On May 17, 2019, the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair opened in Shenzhen. More than 100 overseas institutions from over 50 countries and regions, including Austria and France, took part; drawing on their respective fields, participants shared their understanding of culture-tourism integration and measures to improve culture-tourism services. EHOPE International Translation was honored to provide Chinese-French simultaneous interpreting for the event.

Long Yuxiang, Executive Chairman of the China Center for International Cultural Communication, noted in his address that the cultural industry embodies a region's soft power and marks the restructuring and upgrading of local economies — urging deep integration of local culture and tourism, bringing Chinese design masters to the world and inviting world masters to China.

Professor Daniel Haïssaguerre, honorary professor at the University of Burgundy, France, analyzed how the Belt and Road Initiative will reshape tourism and cultural opportunities. While interpreting top-level design for culture-tourism integration, experts also examined service design, customer experience and urban culture — assessing the space for growth and forecasting industry opportunities and challenges.
