EHOPE Provides Language Services for the 2019 Asia-Pacific Green & Low-Carbon Development Summit

The 2019 Asia-Pacific Green and Low-Carbon Development Summit was held in Changsha from October 16 to 18, under the theme "Consulting Together on Low-Carbon Development, Sharing a Green Life". Co-hosted by the Hunan Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment and the Asian Development Bank, the forum featured nearly 100 international experts from various fields as speakers.

Over three days, more than 600 Chinese and international guests — from international financial institutions such as ADB and the World Bank, and from research institutes and companies across more than 20 countries and regions including China, Japan and South Korea — explored the challenges technology leaders face in low-carbon transition, plus opportunities in climate-finance standard-setting and climate risk management.

The summit demonstrated China's active response to climate change and its willingness to deepen international cooperation, while broadly promoting "nature-based solutions". EHOPE International Translation served as the summit's sole language service provider, responsible for Chinese-English simultaneous interpreting.
