EHOPE Interprets the 6th China-LAC Policy and Knowledge Summit

On November 5, 2019, the 6th "China-LAC Policy and Knowledge Summit", co-hosted by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the Inter-American Development Bank, took place in Zhengzhou. Officials and corporate executives from 14 Latin American and Caribbean countries — including Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Uruguay and Mexico — joined Chinese scholars and local government officials for in-depth exchanges on digital citizen services, smart cities and the future of logistics.

The seminar was organized by the CASS-Zhengzhou Municipal Government Research Institute, the CASS Bureau of International Cooperation and the Institute of Population and Labor Economics — the third time the event was held in China, following Beijing 2015 and Shanghai 2017.
