Chinese-Arabic SI at the Shanghai Seminar on China-Africa Cooperation and People-to-People Exchange

On April 9–10, 2019, the founding conference of the China-Africa Institute and the Seminar on China-Africa Cooperation and People-to-People Exchange were held in Beijing. President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter, warmly congratulating the institute's founding; Yang Jiechi, member of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau and director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs, attended, read the letter and delivered a speech.
Xie Fuzhan, President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, presided over the founding conference, emphasizing the institute's role as an exchange platform, research base, talent highland and communication window. Former Mozambican President Joaquim Chissano said the founding of the institute and its international advisory committee was an important milestone that would bring China-Africa relations into a new dimension.
On April 11, the "Seminar on China-Africa Cooperation and People-to-People Exchange" — co-hosted by CASS, the Shanghai Academy of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the CASS Institute of Social Development Strategy — was held in Shanghai under the theme "China-Africa Cooperation: New Areas, New Drivers and New Approaches", contributing theory to a more prosperous, win-win future.
EHOPE International Translation was invited to provide Chinese-Arabic simultaneous interpreting for the seminar.
