EHOPE Provides Language Services for the First China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo

From June 27 to 29, 2019, the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Forum and Expo took place in Changsha. Under the theme "Win-Win Cooperation for Closer China-Africa Economic and Trade Relations", the expo ran a series of events focused on trade promotion, investment, agricultural technology, energy and power, cooperation parks, infrastructure and financing — attracting 53 African countries and international organizations including UNIDO, the WFP, the WTO and the African Union, becoming an important window on the future of China-Africa economic cooperation.

At the China-Africa Private Economy Cooperation Forum sub-venue, delegates from both sides noted that Chinese and African manufacturing are highly complementary and mutually beneficial, with broad prospects for cooperation. Chinese private enterprises expanding into Africa were encouraged to combine their own upgrading with Africa's long-term development, while governments on both sides should foster a sound environment for investment cooperation. During the forum, ten guests from Chinese and African private enterprises and African government departments held interactive exchanges on manufacturing cooperation, and 11 cooperation projects were signed on site.

With the sub-forum themed "Boosting China-Africa Manufacturing Cooperation", EHOPE International Translation was invited to provide Chinese-French simultaneous interpreting throughout. EHOPE will keep contributing to win-win cooperation between China and Africa.
